I kept the second one out of the home for a back up for a light if we have a hurricane and also have no lights. Fantastic item! But next the motion sensor stopped detecting any movement and refused to light up. I'm only writing in case somebody has an answer that I have not found. I looked around to determine how many lumens it was, but could not find it anyplace on the driveway lighting package. They're placed along a road to your shed and on your shed - must have bought them before now.
I've had this discount outdoor lighting since December and the batteries inside it are still going strong (it is the end of February). Motion sensors work perfectly.
I am totally happy. I'm not trying to do heart surgery. The light is effective in outside places that you have no power to wire in a light. I've not used it enough to discuss battery life but overall I believe this is a very good item. This light functions as marketed, which others I attempted did not do. It appears to be cheaply made (in China, if that issues for you).
Moved myself in front of the sensor, the light came on again for thirty seconds.
We use this light in the spare room. So of the two, I had much better luck with the Mr Beams one. I purchased 3 different kinds and find this is the sleekest so fits very best in a small area if you don't take up much space which is probably the most practical for that application. Purchased a couple of these for my gun safe.

This seemed truly unsafe in my experience and of course the home was not going to set up additional lighting. I found it least expensive right here on amazon.com. Based on the amount of light given off I've got a hard time recommending this for anything apart from giving some light to a dark hallway or stairway where you only need enough light to keep you from tripping over things at night time. These sensors work completely for that. This is an LED therefore it is extremely bright with little warmth, and it is been working ideal for the last month.
