I've changed batteries only one time and only in the unit in the closet I'm in at least two times a day year round. This fit the bill. My solar floodlight stopped working after only a few months. It casts a bright light over the entire area, and it is simple to adjust the angle of the light. I'm happy with the Desingers Edge Outside floodlight. Its larger than the photo would indicate (nearly 6"x6"x6"). I tried to aim one of these simple lights up them and down, however they ended up shining in your face in either case. It's really just like a night light inside a closet.
Fantastic overall worth. That is about it. I turned the control to test and lots of water began dripping out of the solar spot lights.
I placed it with a velcro on a single of the swing doors. Purchased two for myself! Many thanks! No problem in my case but some may want more/less then the pre-set. I had been able to get the light operating again by leaving battery door off and letting the insides dry (inside the house) for a week - I believe water was causing the circuit board within to short out. The product when shipped knocked around in the box so maybe that is what caused the issue? It was a no-brainer to set up and has an on/off switch to disable it when there is enough ambient light to not require extra. I had to touch the sensor more often than not just to get the light to come on. It worked - the region stayed thoroughly clean.
For example we needed it for a hallway to be used during the night without needing to turn on the main light every time. Lights the whole porch so fumbling for keys in the dark is eliminated. Installation is easy, the movement sensor is sensitive enough to turn on from about 6 to 8 feet away, and ideally the light lives up to the 6-12 month battery substitute claims.
To date the solar driveway light really works great - it was simple to set up and puts out a pleasant light.
The motion detector is effective, however the LED light isn't as bright as I believed it might be. Ideal for the bottom of a darkish closet or cabinet. We had a piece of our hallway that was not lit with no way to connect a night light to see our black canine at night and didn't want to get hurt tripping over him. Other times the solar step lights will just randomly switch on by itself with no one around.
It was precisely what I expected it to be. It goes on when it is supposed to and turns itself off thirty seconds after movement stops. SOLAR SPOT LIGHTS. One of four failed after 14 days. I am glad I only bought one set for trial. solar spot lights.
