building my own computer.. will this work?
im thinking of building my own computer... here is a list of things that i could possibly have..
1.XION Solaris XON-401 Black with Green LED Light Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450W Power Supply
2.Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

i added up the price and it was around 523$ for everything except the monitor and stuff
Since it appears you're sticking with onboard video, then this should work. Just be aware that if you intend to upgrade to a stand alone video card, then the 450W power supply of that case is probably on the low side. You'll want something in the 500w - 600w range to be safe.
That being said, I might encourage you to buy a video card if you have the means. Onboard video is very weak. However, if you don't play games, then you're all good!
P.S. Your board is NOT a DDR2 board. It is DDR3. You're totally fine. Not sure what the other poster was looking at. Maybe they were confusing "Dual Channel" DDR3 with DDR2. Or they were looking at the A2 board, not your A3.
