With high gas prices, is there a better fuel source that is available/affordable besides solar and electric ?
The combustion engine has been obsolete for many years now. Why isn't the auto industry making any real effort to evolve with vehicle designs? The oil industry is making many people rich and as far as they are concerned, they won't have it any other way so as long as they have a residual cash flow coming in. It's time to move on and go to the next level and really create a better means of transportation that is not only economically sound, but environmentally practical as well. If all the money being created from oil went into new research into newer fuel sources, a better way of life can come from it and newer and better inventions build on one another to evolve the entire industry. It's 2006 now... don't you think it's time we move forward and stop relying on foreign oil dependancies and rely on ourselves for better and newer transportation means?
There's a new fuel out using corn. Check out the source below. I saw it featured on Dateline one Sunday night. It's called Flex Fuel, E85 ethanol. GM is using it so far. It's been tested on farms around the States.
