Found it Hard To Find Pieces Solar ? Then This is The Place For You!

I'm thinking of buying a pool solar cover and then cutting it into a few pieces to make it easier to deal with?

My pool is a modified kidney shape. It is approximately 15' across its largest width and 28' across its largest length. The idea of using a solar cover to both heat and keep heat in the Florida winter
is worrisome to me when I recall how easy the covers are to rip and how hard it is to deal with a large one (I used to have a 28' round and it was hard to roll up). So I thought maybe I could cut it
into thirds. However, the worry is that maybe separate sections would be blown over each other and
not stay in their positions. Having a mis-shapened kidney makes me think it would self-enforce positioning, but smaller width sections could be forced to flow into a larger space, if the edges of the cover don't sort of block each other.
So - has anyone already dealt with separate sections of solar cover ? And do they blow into and over each other ? Or do they stay separated ?
