Is it okay to run separate wires the whole way from the amp to the speakers with dual voice coils?
My wire is only 12 guage and there'll be about 800 watts going to each speaker. I am using two speakers hooked to one mono block amp, so the signal is all the same; so can i run separate Speaker wires to each voice coil from the amp instead of one wire and splicing it half way through?
You can but not really necessary. I always run one wire into the box then jump the voice coils. The smaller the hole in the box the less possibility for air to leak out.
